Marion County Florida is located in Central Florida. The County seat is Ocala Florida.  Named after  Frances Marion a revolutionary war fighter.  The Ocala National Forest and the Florida trail run through her land.  Our first thoroughbred horse bred at Bonnie Heath Farm won the Kentucky Derby in 1956.  163 square miles with 1585 square miles of land and 78 square miles of water.
